This Emmy Award winning series profiles grass roots environmentalists around the globe.  The pieces originate as portraits for the Goldman Environmental Prize and then are cut together into an annual one-half hour PBS show.  These pieces typically take me to three or more international locations per year.  They are terrific beams of optimism in an otherwise bleak environmental landscape. In addition to playing on PBS affiliates every year, these pieces also play in festivals where they have garnered numerous awards.
